The First Post

Do I need my own blog? Probably not, but this is coming at a time of a lot of self-introspection. I am a writer, but have never been a "journal" type guy... what's the point of writing it all down if no one is going to read it? I've moved around my whole life, and am settling into the latest state... the Golden State of California. Since I've been here, the most common question I get is, "How does it compare to NYC?" Well, it's different. Not better. Not worse. But different. Hopefully, this is a forum where I can express that. And anything else rattling around in my little brain.
